Julie T. Chapman
My mission is to make original, deeply creative, beautiful artwork of today’s Wild West and Africa that conveys my intense excitement at being with animals, and that connects viewers to nature and our fellow species. My work should evoke emotion in my collectors and stand the test of time in concept and execution.
A collector once asked me why I make art; I answered “for the same reason I breathe.”
Julie was selected among the “Wild 100” by the National Museum of Wildlife Art in Jackson, WY; she won the Grand Prize in the 2002 Art for the Parks national juried competition; she is a recognized “Treasured Artist” for the state of Montana; and she has won many more national and international awards.
